To all loyal followers of Kaicho Jon Bluming’s official International Budo Kaikan

This is a message for all IBK Budoka worldwide, regardless of style. The full board of the IBK, consisting of both the Kyokushin Full Contact Karate division and Kyokushin Budokai All-Round Fighting division, would like to lett you know that there are some instructors who claim that they have received certain powers and concessions from Kaicho Jon Bluming.

Although at some point in the timeline this might have been a partial truth, this was by no means Kaicho Jon Bluming's last wish in the final chapter of his life. He decided that he needed people whom he could actually trust, who would continue to pursue his philosophy and martial art no matter what happened, and under no circumstances the persons who had a hidden agenda for power or wealth. On June 2, 2018, Kaicho Jon Bluming had his last official meeting that took place at his home, a video was made of it should it prove necessary in the future. This video clearly shows that Kaicho was perfectly able to make such decisions. It is only natural that all decisions made by Kaicho at this official meeting automatically replace all previous arrangements made in the past. For example, he decided to make Jan De Bruin Kancho from the IBK Kyokushin Full Contact Karate division and Eric Van Vaerenbergh Kancho from the Kyokushin Budokai All-Round Fighting division. At the same time, with the explicit approval of Kaicho Jon Bluming, Kancho Eric Van Vaerenbergh decided to make both Hanshi Tom Madsen and Hanshi Marc Howes his special advisers within the IBK All-Round Fighting Board. Kancho Jan De Bruin also appointed competent advisers within the Kyokushin Full Contact Karate board with the explicit approval of Kaicho Jon Bluming. When both boards of directors of each division sit together, they form the IBK board of directors. Just to be clear ... the mandates that are linked to the functions that were specifically assigned by Kaicho Jon Bluming are final and irrevocable. These issued mandates have virtually no commitment whatsoever to certain matters, such as being in possession of a higher Dan degree or previously acquired sporting results, but rather to the commitment and sacrifice that someone has made for decades in the general interest of the IBK.

Both Kanchos and their advisors try to preserve and further develop the true identity of Kaicho Jon Bluming's IBK, but have reached the point where several members are now deliberately trying to sabotage the organization. For that reason, the IBK board has no other options than to terminate all contact with these persons and to permanently remove their complete information as well as that of all their followers from the official IBk website.
